For the upcoming holidays more fat is needed in the Haxn than in the arms, there is now reason to rejoice at the MTB increased use; -)
Ideal for not too stable weather offered by Munich lately in the Chiemgau - where's here often on the edge the northern Alps weather was a bit too often favored.

Up to Sachrang yet will always back up slightly. Thereafter, however, a pleasant descent to Sebi. And here it is overtaken by two racing cyclists. But you can be splashed out, because you can catch up with the MTB, especially in the corners and some places to go straight and again ;-)

Chiemgau

Beautiful, technically too heavy round - except for the section of the ducks gorge. Except for the ramps Priener hut and this was enough going on-mountain pastures. If the weather is better, one would also beautiful views of the Kaiser ...

Out of Africa (Gamsjoch / Karwendel)

In our premature reversal in the central north, we could have another nice tour Karwendel discover. In the new Panico three tours on the north side of the Gamsjochs in there, but they were first climbed back in the 90s. Since then, however, have probably not many lost there ...

The evaluated with 8 + key length is slightly understated. There were only 1.5m, for which I had no real plan. Presumably, under the proposed Topo mentioned in the description of A0 or A1 level ... But only 1.5m in a 500m wall ... ;-)

We followed the option of the topos and roped to the 12th Length. From here the wall was much flatter, the rock was a much more fragile and also the impression of vast and compelling detour attracted little over the top.

The descent went smoothly and with 60m ropes you could summarize some lengths. Tension was then only the Fußabstieg back down to the maple floor. More relaxed, the last flat feet ;-)

Gamsjoch / Karwendel

A small treasure in the Karwendel is hidden on the north side of the Gamsjochs. The tour is really very beautiful, steep and well protected climbing in a shady environment. Ideal for a peaceful and so hot day. The most exciting, however, the ascent and descent! On the climb is followed completely the creek bed with some light climbing, for the descent, we talked about in the way described in the topo.
There are currently two routes on this wall, in each case from the 90s. Apparently, this wall would still offer a lot of potential and if it would be more crowded, the trail would be defined better. But do we want it back then??

Material: 60m half ropes, 12 Expressen (when in the 8 - length is not all clipped)

North Central (Grubenkarspitze / Karwendel)

mit'm Stef were for the hot weekend plans for shady walls in the Karwendel forged. However, there was a barbecue on Friday, very unexpected action with Mr. Augustine on the Isar in between, something went ;-)

disguised After 2.5h sleep, the alarm clock like a miracle again an hour later ... Now we went bisserl better and so we went to England to Grubenkarspitze. North Central part of the wet saw from the parking lot already, but we wanted to try it.

Even when boarding, we found both that we were not quite up to par: Stef coughed himself up with his decaying cold the way me and the excessive consumption of meat and beer was pretty much in the stomach ...

However, so we were quite contrary to the first wet longer because here was provided for refreshment!

The first climb was wet dry, desiccated, the sun no longer quite so our bulb - has advanced our disability group ...

Although Karwendel found here about 50% of beautiful climbing meters. But then came the highlight - Stef skeptical view from the top ...

... in the most humid 11th Length. So also, of course, to think with us and to free climb a few meters into the intersection not: glibbriger, wet, mossy, flechtiger Schlonz ...

But it was all good!

We are too soft ... If we snorkel, swimsuit, towel and shampoo it, it had been an issue, this was in our lightweight luggage like to find not. Quasi at the end of the difficulties roped. At least 22 lengths, but only half of the wall ...

Ejal, so we missed a definitely nice bivouac on the summit and we were both entertaining voice-overs and the 3: 2 of the German compensation against Uruguay.

So, if there is such looks as if the upper waterfall busy water has not then hope the pitches were walking through somewhere else. No, straight through! Then prefer to wait for drier times for the entire climb-through or re abseiling

Central North Wall [8 -, 1200hm]

Grubenkarspitze / Karwendel

Probably one of the longer walls the northern Alps. Although in the Karwendel, so is the rock here quite well - at least those of us climbed the lower half. Thereafter, however, almost certainly a huge break - but also much lighter (3-4, top or a length of 5 / 6). Still, who "only" climb beautiful lengths wants to go, better go elsewhere, but it lacks the brilliant atmosphere! In addition, the security for such a wall is directly relaxing.

Material: 60m half ropes, ~ 12 exes, Cams .75 - 3, wedges, makes sense for any above-Hammer + Hakl

Hours: Walk-off Eng: ~ 1 - 1.5 hours, our time to abseiling: 6h, 12h total time + x
